habsI watch the seventh game between the Habs and Capitals at the local recreation facility. A sweaty red haired guy rides a stationary bike beside me, both of us point our bikes straight at the TV and there is no score yet. I start watching half way through the first period and ask Red how the Canadians have been doing and he says the puck was in the Habs end most of the time. But Montreal scores and we whoop with high fives. Red gets off his bike at the end of the period and while CBC commentators parse the game there are grunts and clangs in the background. When I leave the gym there are five women riding bikes watching the game. I go to the Reagle Beagle to watch the third period and I order a beer and burger special before the period starts and the guy in a business suit at the table next to me listens and orders the same. He suggests I must be a regular because I seem to know what to order but I tell him the server told me about the special and that this is my first time here. I tell him I live in Kits; me too he says. After a wild final minute when the Capitals try to tie the game, they loose and the Habs win the series. The Kits burger guy whoops with me and we high five.
